When you have a NVR and you have added the cameras but you cant see the camera's.

Check the following:


1. Whats the IP range of the camera's


2. How are you connecting the NVR to the cams via switch seperate from the local network or through the network/ internet.


NB!! 

If you want the dvr to connect to the internet but not have the cameras on the same network as everything else it is recommended you, use a switch seperate from the network and connect that switch to the LAN Port.

And connect the cable from the router the WAN port.


3. If you using a switch seperate from the network check what port you connected the switch to

    - If WAN make sure the ip address of the WAN is on the same range as the camera's ip addresses 

    - If LAN make sure the ip address of the LAN is on the same range as the camera's ip addresses 


4. If IP Ranges are correct make sure you have entered correct username and password and ensure you using correct protocols ie: 

    - AVTECH 

    - ONVIF
